Cook's paradise in Fairhaven

If you are looking for a beach house to relax and share some time with family or friends you have found it. In summer, holidays here are about swimming, lying on the deck, reading, playing cricket in the backyard and exploring the Great Ocean Road. Winters are happily spent cooking in the state of the art kitchen, relaxing by the fire, catching up on netflix, drinking champagne and sleeping in those French linen sheets.

On the first level you will find bedroom one and ensuite plus a separate lounge. The next level there are three bedrooms, one with ensuite plus a central bathroom and separate toilet.

The house works well for four couples or two couples with children or simply you and your partner. Pick up a box of local produce at Poppys on your way or stop at the Captains for local pizza. There is a wood fire all set simply light a match and sit back and enjoy the bubbles and the view.

Do as much or as little as you want.

The lounge room features a wood fire, flat screen smart TV, FREE WIFI, ottomans, modular couch to laze on with many cushions to make sure you are extra comfortable. There are large sliding doors that open onto an ocean view deck, complete with BBQ, table and chairs.

There is a separate laundry with Miele washing machine and dryer and sink. In addition an outdoor clothes line. A fully fenced yard for dogs. You will also find an iron and ironing board for those formal occasions.

We have hidden a few essentials in the cupboard (microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine with recycling pods, grinder and cleaning equipment). The kitchen is also state of the art, fully equipped open plan, large dining table with chairs on a bamboo floor. The Ocean Haven is bright and light all year round.

"We had a lovely relaxing few days at Great Ocean Haven. The house was cosy with a beautiful fireplace as well as a split system in the lounge area and electric oil heaters in the bedrooms. The amazing new kitchen had everything you could have wanted, in fact we cooked most meals while we were staying there, making the most of the beautiful range of bowls and platters. The location of the house allowed us to walk everywhere, our dog especially loving the long walks on the beach. Thank you Laurel & Sue for the fresh flowers, bubbles and chocolates! "I stayed at Laurel's place for 4 nights with my parents, siblings and our children for a milestone birthday celebration. Communication with Laurel was great as she responded quickly to any questions I had. On arrival there was really good quality sparkling and chocolates in the fridge. The house, fridge, crockery, glasses, cupboards, and linen were clean. The beds were all super comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery for our many feasts. The ocean views were lovely and it was great to eat out on the deck. The back yard was secure for kids and dog and there were a couple if fun games supplied. The beach and inlet was a 5 minute stroll away and shops a touch further. I would definitely recommend for two or three smaller families sharing to stay here."
